definitely on the lower end of Altman's theater adaptation totem pole. The Dumb Waiterwas the more enjoyable of the two segments for me, largely because of the absurd performances both Travolta and Tom Conti give. There's some genuine laughs to be had, and a lot of fun in unraveling exactly what the hell is going on. The Room is similarly obscure, but without any of the charm or fun or ludicrous Travolta accents. However, Annie Lennox looks really fuckin cool in it, so that's a plus.

A telemovie composed of two small plays by Harold Pinter: The Dumb Waiter and The Room, both good. Seems to have disappeared.
