Big Driver is okay but I like to file my revenge thrillers under satisfying and this wasn't.

I was tricked into starting to watch this crap by being told it was a revenge thriller. I gave up before getting to the revenge bit. The awful dialogue and baffling plot progression make this a slog even at 87 minutes - the first 10 minutes could be excised at no loss and following the rape it limps along for so long I couldn't be bothered with the revenge. So in the end I sat through the unpleasantness of the rape without the payoff of the revenge

Some of the bad dialogue and cheesiness seems intentional - reflecting the consciousness of the protagonist, who is, we are told and shown, a bad writer - which is really the sole interesting choice of this rape-revenge script.

I thought it was a Mystery movie... as in I do not know what it is happening but nope, it is more a linear movie. You can watch the whole thing without being bored but you could also stop watching at any moment with the feeling of not have lost anything good.

You can do better than this, Mr. King!
