Black Rabbit

The series starts strong, setting up a murky world where family, business, and crime collide. Tough crowd. Perhaps the star power behind the series is giving it a bit of an underserved bump, but I thought the series was well paced and genuinely thrilling, though perhaps it could have been cut down an episode or so. I initially thought the series finale was episode 6, and honestly, I was convinced that might have made the series better, until the last 10 minutes or so made the extra episodes pay off.

Indeed, not much special. Nice ride at the beginning, then a lot of unnecessary prolonging, and the end was ok-ish.

Why does everyone in newer American series have to smoke weed? Just sad, because it doesn't add anything. Other than that, the plot is pretty straight forward and a bit too obvious. Very typical American series. Fun at times, but would do better with a few less episodes as the story is slow and boring at other times.

it starts off very strong and then fails to find direction dragging all its potential to the end making the suspense matter less than it should

It was alright. The actors carried this dull show. I like flawed protagonists, but I don't like it when the protagonists are just bad people. Giving us worse antagonists didn't make me want the brothers to succeed, but I didn't want to watch them spiral either. Some moments were just bad, but it kept me entertained enough to watch all of it so it was fine overall.
