Very well regarded but perhaps time hasn't been kind. Certainly well shot, set & there are some big names here, but somehow, as entertainment, it perhaps has some of the failings of older historical novels - the genius lead pulls himself up to enormous wealth & power from nothing but... - you feel you've seen it all before, know what will happen & do not feel as involved as intended. Recommended,with that caveat. Some scenes fail due to over-acting IMHO. Mentioned as a retell of the Kennedy clan
