Terrible special effects, but somehow this film was a lot more acceptable than I had expected. Still not good, mind you, but acceptable anyhow.

Entertaining enough planet gone mad type of chaos movie. Rather shitty TV style CG effects which are at least good for a laugh as people go flying off into nowhereland. Dennehy and Quaid are in it and seem to be at least having fun with their roles.

2014-09-23 movie seems to be made to please the broadest audience, thereby excluding me. shitty climax avalanching, focussing on US biggest fear (having no power for AC & electric cocktail makers ;) )
