An anime about body cells at work, following said cells as characters? It's hard not to compare this to the French anime 'Once Upon A Time..Life'. But where that series was aimed at a young audience, and showed a lot of mechanics semi-realistically, 'CaW!' shows processes much more abstractly. Getting a scrape is shown as a massive explosion in a city, a hay fever as a near Armageddon in the body. This show is fun, and the platelets so kawai! So easy to root for the characters :)

For what is literally an educational children's series, this is pretty good! Manages a nice balance between entertaining and educating, though it is somewhat repetitive at times. Still, I want them to go more literal with this. I want to see thousands of platelets jump in a pile and die to clog a wound. I want to see the red blood cells being replaced by the millions every second. I want to see the horror of the cerebral neurons realizing they're the only cells left who remember this.
