There's a point somewhere in the 1990s where the Peanuts specials stopped being "special," and just became animated comic strips. There's no attempt to tie any of these individual gags together to make them "bigger." Which is too bad, because the animation does get better through the years. After having watched this a few hours ago, I'll be darned if I can remember much about it.
