It's like The Wicker Man meets Invasion of the Body Snatchers... but for kids! (Sort of.) Pretty damn awesome for an obscure '70s BBC miniseries. The weird atonal acapella score is its own character. The whole show is on YouTube, seek it out.

I don't usually leave reviews for TV series on here, but I revisited this one recently having been mildly scarred by it as a child. I dunno why but it got under my skin, and still does. The music, the setting, the story...pretty ambitious for children's TV. Worth checking out.
