Children of the Whales

Presents an interesting world and some pretty visuals, but the storytelling is fundamentally awful. The motivations of the villains are non-sensical and they come off as genuinely moronic at times. The drama centered around the Mud Whale is uninteresting and the way they tried to make them distinct from other islands was retarded. What's worse is that there was great potential in this - the idea of so many people dying young was an interesting concept, but one that's largely ignored by the plot.
