Chowder

Incredibly memorable show and we'll probably never see anything like it again. A product of it's time along with Flapjack.

Meh. Tried to be one of those bizarre shows but didn't pull it off too well.

This show and Flapjack were certainly the bizarre, tripped-out brainchildren that lead to more fully realized and rooted efforts that appeared in Adventure Time and Steven Universe. That being said, series like Chowder certainly ushered in a new era for CN and American animation in general. Here, the nonsensical characters with flattened and concise animation create drama over hilariously weird situations. It wasn't compelling most of the time, but it was a unique/funny voice nonetheless.
