Like Torchwood, Class attempts to explore the darker side of the Doctor Who universe. The plot of the show isn't too bad, though the combination of the cast, characters and writing make a lot of the drama elements feel forced and tiresome. The lone season does bring closure to the main story, though it also dangles a teaser for a second season that will never be.

I watched the first couple episodes but couldn't continue on. As much as I love the world of Doctor Who, this show just didn't interest me. It felt like they were trying to be edgy in a way that was awkward, and unnatural as opposed to how Torchwood handled a more mature twist on the Whoniverse.
