I always appreciate a isolation thriller. Down is an interesting time. It does a good job of not overstaying it’s welcome with its 80 minute runtime. The two leads are actually decently interesting to its build up. There isn’t really much of a “twist” as you can probably figure how this goes pretty early, but it doesn’t detract from its entertainment value. The last 15 minutes actually take a direction I wasn’t expecting and ends with a nice payoff. I’m genuinely pretty surprised by this.

I dig that it did well with a simple premise, and there was a good amount of left turns and suspense. The reveal scene was badass in my opinion. But the whole thing didn't hit me hard enough.
