Fuckin great production team on this one

It was a great series that I manage to watch in a couple of days. The only big negative, for me, it was the fact that the writers didn't keep the chronological order of the events and this was, somehow, frustrating

Interesting subject matter, but come on, this did not need to be EIGHT HOURS! Episode after episode was Christian Slater and Alec Baldwin explaining to someone about Duntsch. Next episode, explaining to someone ELSE, the SAME INFORMATION about Duntsch. And on and on. Trim it to a 2 hour film and it would have been very powerful.

The length/repetition seem necessary to really convey how greed, bureaucracy, & CYA obstructed efforts to stop this lunatic, and Slater and Baldwin are entertaining undertaking said efforts. Maybe it's impossible to know the precise distribution of sadism/addiction/incompetence/overconfidence, but the calculation and contemplation here seem unsatisfying; maybe they always would. Points for the hilariously true depiction of being coked-up and struggling to accomplish something mundane (password)
