With one of Dr. Slump's crazy inventions—namely the Time Slipper—Arale and her new friends set off on a journey to prehistoric times. There they experience terrifying adventures with aggressive dinosaurs. But Arale knows neither fear nor scruples: she skillfully knocks out a particularly nasty dinosaur and saves Senbei's life at the last minute.
Arale notices that she is missing a certain body part, which Senbei has never seen in a woman before. So he invents X-ray glasses that allow him to see through inanimate objects, gets excited, and goes (unsuccessfully) peeping around town.
Senbei invents the original replicator, which can turn all kinds of images into real objects—but only for five minutes. Senbei thinks about meeting erotic women, but this is made impossible by the presence of Arale and Gatchan.
Because Akane convinces her that it will make her big and strong, Arale eats her school lunch, tray and all. She also drinks Akane's sake and tells the teacher that Akane secretly drinks sake. As a result, both of them get their bottoms spanked.
Out of nowhere, King Nicochan and his servant appear from outer space, intent on subjugating Earth. While jumping on a trampoline, Arale and Gatchan are launched into orbit and end up aboard the spaceship, where they quickly realize that they are dealing with two lunatics who are nevertheless extremely dangerous and enjoy sweeping Mars out of space for fun.
Arale learns at school that you should take any objects you find to the police. She wants to be named “Good Child of the Week” and goes a little overboard. Her enthusiasm drives the police crazy, but that doesn't stop her from bringing children and dog poop to the police station—after all, she found everything on the street.
Arale and Akane decide to play a prank on the doctor. Akane dresses up as Miss Yamabuki and asks for a beer during a house call, which turns into a heavy drinking session. From then on, Senbei makes a fool of himself in front of Arale and Akane, whom he mistakes for Miss Yamabuki.
Senbei, Pisuke, and Taro laugh at Suppaman, who they consider a complete failure. Suppaman grumbles as he listens to what they say about him. Then a bank is robbed. Suppaman intervenes, but when the bank robber threatens him with a gun, Suppaman helps him escape.
Kinoko is playing on the sand court when Arale and Gatchan shoot out of the ground. They become friends and play “family” and later “hide and seek” with Taro. However, Kinoko, Arale, and Gatchan simply go to Kinoko's house to play dress-up, leaving poor Taro behind. Kinoko dresses Arale up as a “pretty girl,” and Senbei almost has a heart attack when he sees her.
While tidying up, Senbei finds a video. It shows his father revealing to Senbei the recipe for a love potion that makes every woman docile. Senbei is supposed to travel to the miracle island to fetch a tear from the chief devil Unmo. Other ingredients for the potion include his own spit.
A cricket has gotten lost in Arale's head and is causing a malfunction—Arale's system is confused and she is suddenly completely normal. How terrible! The whole world can't believe it. Finally, the cricket manages to escape from her head, and Arale is back to her usual nonsense. Senbei is overjoyed, because the other Arale wasn't really his cup of tea either. Once your reputation is ruined...
Arale is out and about as a ninja and meets the gang leader from the Canary School. He falls in love with her and asks her out on a date. Akane and one of his followers go along too. They go to the cinema and watch an erotic film, much to the horror of the gang leader.

But the others annoy him and constantly want to play with him.

Once again, Midori pays a visit to the Norimakis' house, when Senbei realizes that he has become a fat old man. He invents an elixir that is supposed to rejuvenate him, but Senbei goes too far and turns into a baby. He forces Midori to bathe naked with him and breastfeed him, and the trick seems to work.
