A small community in Denmark; politicians has approved the building of a public swimming pool even though the citizens believe it cost too much to build it. A drunken son of the mayor, the assistant mayor who is like a son to the mayor, a murder, and accident, a drowning and another accidental murder. How will he be able to explain it all?
