I was optimistic going in but not quite prepared for it missing the target so completely. The character stays fully invested in all facts of modern life and transcends none of them - a ridiculous dumbing down of the notion of personal growth; at best boring, at worst insulting. The character shows an unbelievable lack of empathy or interpersonal awareness - completely useless and frustrating character for this theme. Makes me question the deeper motivations for shit like this being produced.

This was painfully uninteresting. It can only at times compete with a still image.

S2 is more ambitious than S1, but it's not really worth one's time, either. I watched it for good ol' One-Take Wilson who's only getting better with age. Evil tongues would claim that the opposite wouldn't be possible and that better does not equal good. I think they're just jealous of the man and of this, shall we say highly exclusive cult of ours.
