The episode with Rose Siggins, thriving with half a body, is the best one. If it doesn't give you some perspective on life, nothing will. Not only was she a mechanic, a race car driver and the first woman with her condition to bare a child,, Moreover, following the episode, Rose went on to become an actress (in American Horror Story) and had a second child. I was so sad to find out that she died in 2005 (from a post operative complication). I don't think I will ever forget her.
