Funny to watch John Rhys-Davies wielding a sword--only because he's sixty-five and it makes him look like his arms are going to fall off. This movie was actually much better than I expected, even though the swordplay and computer animation are both horrendous. Other than that it was just a bit below watchable.

A decent fantasy story with very low budget. I am surprised how low its rating is. I am a big fan of fantasy movies from the 80s and this is about the same style. I think if it had been created 20 years earlier it might have gotten better reviews, but if I judge it by the same standards I am judging any other movie from the 80s, this is a decent one and I can certainly recommend it to fantasy fans. If you are willing to overlook the oldish style, you will definitely have a good time watching it.

Not bad for a low budget flick, it should keep you entertained to the conclusion. The effects are pretty poor, but it has dragons that don't look too bad. The acting is fairly good considering a weakish script.
