The day to day of the show is interesting, but the general plot... is not. Most of the main characters are best described as unremarkable. Keeping aside the absurdity of the situation, the show combines the uncommon (for tv shows) prison scenery with the abundant lawyers trope. It works, but lawyers work with anything. I'm somewhat surprised it managed to get two seasons.
