Very tensed, great acting. Fine pacing. Man do I love scandinavian series. Free from generic Hollywood styling and scripting. More please!

The first season is pretty much perfect. Later seasons are not very engrossing. But, the first season just raises this to the highest level. One of the best examples of television so far – surpassing The Sopranos and other more famous shows.

It's simply put - boring. A lot of scenes are prolonged and dreadful, the story is nothing special and the characters are forgettable and again, boring. Maybe it's because it's an old(er) show, but it doesn't hold a candle to shows like Bron/Broen, Wisting, etc.

S1. Not without imperfections, this still rates as a fantastic achievement that leaves most cop dramas in its wake. For 20 ep's the tension never lets up, and you really get to know the characters, for all their faults. This is more about the investigation of a crime, and how people are brought into it and the impact that has on them, rather than blood and guts. Its failing, in some regards is also its strength; a self concluding series which you KNOW is going to end. Buy Sarah a new jumper!
