A pretty good documentary about Frank Capra made for television. Family, colleagues and a host of directors, actors and critics pop up for talking head commentary on his work. As is often the case, Martin Scorsese offers some of the best insights. It's a well-balanced look at his career with most of the focus on the mid-30's to the mid-40's. You can tell this was filmed in the late 90's by how much screen time Marshall Herskovitz gets.

Intriguing documentary shot in remarkably handsome high-definition video (a big thing in 1997 IMHO), featuring interviews with many big/fine filmmakers
