Disregarding how much this contrasts with Carson's real world image, this was such a lame movie. How it conveys intelligence is completely laughable, assuming that anyone who's educated and successful must have stereotypical traits such as listening to classical music or dressing like a nerd. It also has a tendency to introduce specific plot beats that go absolutely nowhere; and by the end, comes off as completely disingenuous about Carson's character and legacy.

Really good story about an amazing man. Was a little short and rushed but the message and meaning are clear as day. Cuba Gooding Jr. does a really good job.

Well worth viewing, though could have been really spectacular if the story was fleshed out a bit more. Nonetheless, certainly worth an investment of 90 minutes time.
