Props to McGregor for a spellbinding performance. This wisely doesn't overstay its welcome with a mere five episodes, as any more would've poisoned any empathy for Halston out of me. It's well made, funny, usually convincing, and only a handful of times tedious. I guess we should kudos Ryan Murphy for getting more explicit gay sex scenes into our media consumption. That'll probably be the crowning achievement of his career.

Majorly quite good, the time jumps were very confusing at times. The set and costume design and acting is superb. In general it is quite good, and mostly true story of a very interesting era.
