Entirely depends on the host, for example when Brian Blessed did it it was hilarious. Generally I loved HIGNFY when I caught it in my teens/early 20's, but looking back on it/seeing it now there has always been a subtle Tory slant to it between Hislop's smug punchable face and catapulting Boris Johnson to national prominence.
