After a fire which killed his father Kent ("Cat People") Smith and scarred his sister (Julie "The Haunting" Harris), a gilt-ridden victim of psychosomatic blindness (Anthony "Psycho" Perkins) is released from a mental hospital and goes to stay with his estranged sister.
