Surprisingly affecting: most "true crime" telemovies move generic ciphers through a generic narrative, whereas, if this is still not exactly "realism", it nevertheless much more closely resembles a psychological study, and one that displays an unusual amount of sympathy for all participants. Rather than the usual crude morality play about crime and consequences, this generates a more genuine sense of pathos and tragedy. The actual case is interesting, but I am not sure if they really suicided.
