Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre

Nothing without Ito's distinctive style

decent collection of stories, maybe not quite as good as the original Junji Ito Collection. the story of mysterious tunnel and floating head stories are memorable stand outs for engrossing horror. the ice cream bus is a standout because it's funny as hell. makes me think about how anything can be turned into horror

Really disappointing, with the exception of three stories (two of which are Ito classics, the floating heads & onion layer girl, the third being the one about the girl who bullies the boy and then their son which was actually disturbing and almost entirely non-supernatural) it's very mid tier content. Also, no Enigma of Amigara Fault... this wasn't made for me.
