I gave this fifteen episodes, and it kept teasing me that it would turn out to be more than it ended up as. It might be that all of this was setup for the truly interesting things that were coming down the line, but I'm only willing to wait so long. There are definitely good parts - visually interesting and distinctive fight scenes, character and setting concepts full of potential, and an overall dedication on the art side to Making It Cool - but the story just didn't make it there.
