Kämpfer

A deeply frustrating series! It starts off funny and chaotic, with lots of gender and identity play, and an annoying harem element that interrupts the fun parts but is mildly interesting with the gender stuff. Suddenly, the harem element takes over and the show slows to a crawl, entering a loop of teasing character development and yanking it away, with revelations that'd be fascinating if they weren't tied to the harem bullshit! Then the last episode reminds you why you liked it and it's over!
