I'm always confused by the economics of cults like this. The most fascinating thing is hearing from the kids who were born into this about just how isolated they were and how they just completely lacked an understanding of the world. In these times of streaming documentary bloat, I also appreciated that they kept this to a brisk 4 episodes.

This docuseries truly chills you to the bone, a classic example of how isolation, fear and the withholding of a proper education can indoctrinate and brainwash otherwise good people. Knowing the truth behind the FLDS and how they used a cult to brainwash a community of people, control women while exploiting children was truly bone chilling.

Absolutely horrifying, but left me with a lot of questions, a rare instance of a documentary series needing to be a little longer. I do wonder what will happen when the guy dies.

Shocking and infuriating. I can't believe the FLDS is still going. Last part was gripping.
