Peter Berg has an excuse to bug Wayne Gretzky for 90 minutes.

Ramshackle documentary that's just 50 minutes of noncontextual soundbytes discussing how great Wayne Gretzky was and that he got traded. Every story thread that gets opened is never elucidated or explored, just mentioned and passed over as the film jarringly edits to the next random talking head saying nothing specific. The brutal part is there's so many interesting threads here that never even get touched on, let alone pulled.

Peter Berg is not Werner Herzog.

Kinda sad how much he didn't want to leave Edmonton but he did save hockey on the west coast in America.

Not the best 30 for 30 out there, mostly cause hockey isn't that great and Gretzky isn't very compelling but still informative and well made. Also, Pete Berg needs to get the hell out of this movie. No one cares about you
