The 1st season of Kipo sets up the world in a fun, colourful and musical fashion. The 2nd season uses that base to develop the story in the best way, with deeper characters, themes and plot twists. The show is a superb blend of style and substance.

This show would be pretty meh if it weren't for the fact that it has the best use of music I've ever seen in a cartoon that isn't Steven Universe. That alone pushes the fight scenes and chase scenes, which I can usually get pretty bored by, into properly awesome territory.
