Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi

This is a high-energy proto-Trigger chaos-comedy series, starting off with some real-world grounding and building up some meaningful Themes but mostly focusing on humor. And it's got some annoying stuff, some offensive running gags, but mostly it's enjoyably ridiculous. Then, right at the very end, it drops all its themes on the floor, undermines our investment, and highlights how shitty it's been to its female lead. I mostly enjoyed it, but jeez, I see why it's gone down the memory hole.
