Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace

There is the sense that Sam Hyde and co. are trying (and failing) at attempting to be a variety of things, these days a father figure guru, but with this show, an incisive and acidic social satire akin to Wonder Showzen. The humour is just too blunt and reactionary to be like its influences, but it's also mostly so damn surreal, that I can't help but laugh at its off-beat zaniness and care-free offensiveness. The very last sketch, while not funny, is deeply moving, distressing, and memorable.
