I like the idea but I'm not into musical at all, so it was kinda annoying to watch for me. Other than that, it's Monster High, nothing should be taken seriously, the story is basic and the dialogues are not its forte. However, I wish there was more details and ideas about the concept of Monster High, which I found was lacking in this adaptation. Could have been better. It's Monster High, it should be way more over the top with the monster theme.

I wanted to hate this, or at least come away hating it a little bit. But for all its corniness, awkwardness, completely unnecessary retooling of several characters & pieces of lore, & sheer predictability, I still genuinely found it worth the time I spent watching it. The cast does a good job with what they've got, the sets are pretty cool, and while the effects aren't top-notch they're less painful to look at than I expected. This is going to get lots of undeserved hate, and that's a shame.
