Now I understand the ratings if we compare it to others of the style. Not the definitive movie, but I kind of enjoyed its pace and see the whole thing through.

While I'm in the mood for crappy movies, this title caught my eye.... Murder, She Baked: A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery (2015) with Days of Our Lives soap star Alison Sweeney. Yep, a sort of a Hallmark Jessica Fletcher rip-off, changing the character from a writer to a cookie baker who goes on a investigation spree. Clearly aimed at the housewife audience, stripped of flair, suspense and humor. Actually there is more search for romance then for the murderer. Gloriously tame....
