Not a strong start but I think this series still has legs. The villains are extremely weak and I hate a lot of the decisions with them contrasted with their comic counterparts but I do think it's an interesting angle to play up Clark as being inexperienced with himself in a way most Superman media don't and it has enough unique ideas otherwise to not be totally boring. It's nice to have a clean Superman story for once given all the edgelord garbage with the concept we've gotten lately.

Somewhat different interpretation of Superman, but also one that I find good and interesting. I really like how Lois is characterized especially. The focus on anime-like mech enemies is getting a little annoying, but overall the way they focus on both the hero and human side of the character is an important part of what can make or break a superhero story, and this one handles that balance really well. Season 2 wasn't quite as good as season 1, but still had good moments.
