I think that I was shoved down the throat this weird stuff in sleepy town in Americana stories for a lifetime; they are so far away from my life that they don't say anything to me. Besides, this is an infuriatingly unbalanced story, things happen because they are good for the story, not because they would. Like, how do these people know in the setting the definition of "strong creative"? Who knows this except the writer? Big kudos to the make up department though, Manx make-ups were outworldly.

The best thing about NOS4A2 is the acting and cast. Quinto really hams it up, but this is the much needed counter-balance to the other characters' more sombre drama. The plot takes its time to get going and is a little circular when it does, while the ending feels a little rushed. (68/100) S02 feels like more of the same, and the characters' continuing stupid decisions are all to extend the plot at the expense of quality. (65/100)

My interest waned as the first season went on.
