Parasyte: The Grey

The show packs a fair amount in 6 episodes and wraps itself up fairly nicely. Not world-class, but not poor. Leaves itself open for another series. The special effects and fighting scenes are good, although the actors must've felt absurd swinging and thrashing around on set.

More of these flowerhead type monsters. These with slashing abilities. Some cool action came out of it, but I found myself less invested by each episode.
