Minhaj is extremely annoying and I'm glad him lying about shit tanked any chance he had of staying relevant.

Volume 1 - 80. Not as high-quality as Last Week Tonight but perhaps more engrossing due to Minhaj's energy, Patriot Act is a worthy addition to the political late-night landscape that has a notably millennial outlook on the world and proof that Netflix knows how to make competitive original content in all genres.

He got off to a bit of a rough start, but now that's he's in his groove Hasan Minhaj has established himself as runner-up to John Oliver in the "Best John Stewart spin-off or clone" competition, adding a much needed South Asian Muslim Millennial perspective to current events and issues. The only advantage that regular TV has over Netflix is news and current affairs programming, and it's a shame that they cancelled the the best show they had in that genre.
