Perfect Gentlemen

Amiable caper film is a low-stakes trifle, but elevated by Bacall and Dennis' fun chemistry with each other and with Pelikan, even though this is cakewalk easy lifting for both actresses; Gordon is also great fun in what ultimately amounts to a cameo. Leisurely pacing (even at 90 mins) means that the scheme takes a little too long to unfold, and is ultimately too rushed in its execution. Recommended if you look forward to the prospect of breezy entertainment with its 3 Hollywood icons!
