From Rockefeller bringing oil to the world, to the Brits and Americans toppling the Iranian government, to the decline of oil with the fight against climate change and renewable energy...some good stuff here. A breezy overview.

Should have been more about the black stuff and less about the geopolitics, especially in the third part. It's amazingly shot and the DP knows what's up so it's not a waste of your time. I would have fancied a version where Jeremy Clarkson would be the presenter.

Great to see a geologist talking oil - but you notice it is a weaker documentary when it comes to the politics and economics. Would have been better to spend more time on geology where it had something to say authoritatively.
