Misanthropic variation on LA RONDE (human nastiness is a disease passed along by each person taking a bite out of the next – Hedberg suicided, by the way) that seems to end with a complaint against complaining. The chapters are brief enough to prevent boredom but it never really takes off. Bergman apparently staged the play in 1945, then did it for radio the following year, so either he was attached to the material or it was just something handy lying around that he felt was OK for TV.
