It was strange to see the way this woman, who started out as an actress in the films of John Waters, turned into one of the worst examples of those willing to shamelessly combine sensationalism and moralism in order to achieve success on television.

The undisputed king of tastelessness, John Waters himself, must balk at what became of a young talent of his own discovery. I still preferred Ricki Lake to Jerry Springer or Oprah, perhaps because she was slightly less arrogant.

As others have mentioned, how one goes from Waters films to this clone of a half dozen other shows, is beyond me? A shame as she is more talented and likable than her peers.
