About 2 episodes in the show forgets its premise and decides to be a tepid romcom. It's fun when it's doing exaggerated poses and mannerisms but the overall narrative comes off as fairly trite despite insisting it's subverting tropes that are low hanging fruit. It insists on trying to keep everything platonic while not really getting how platonic relationships works. It lands a bit with the stalker twist in the final stretch but the series just ends on an underwhelming note afterwards.

Fun idea. Would've been better had it just stuck to the comedy and not try to force the drama.
