Rating this to talk about the adaptation of Flannery O'Connor's "The Life You Save May Be Your Own", starring GENE KELLY as the one-legged drifter. Except I guess GENE KELLY was too much the DANCE PURIST to have one of his legs surgically amputated for 26 minutes of television drama, so he hid his arm in his sleeve instead. At least they kept the story's happy ending. It's almost as good the end of "A Good Man is Hard to Find", when The Misfit takes the family for frosty chocolate milkshakes.
