As a spectator thing it's amusing to talk with others about the value of products that come on the show. On the other hand, it's also more a display of product lines than any real discussion on marketing or product value while the hosts act like arrogant douchebags, so it's not valuable as a lesson on economics. There's also the fact the show perpetuates a lot of scumminess, from the investors lying about what they intend to spend on air to how much they take in equity from contestants.

This is like 2nd place after Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares of trash tv I'm actually into. It's some real garbage.
