Interesting story, but why not just wait until it's actually done? Also, there's no need for this to be a series vs. a feature.

I’m a bit bothered they scurried to release this before the trials were over. I’m absolutely convinced that the mom deserves the death penalty, but… That’s kind of the problem. She’s not given a fair trial (nor do I think she deserves one after seeing this), but I’m naïve enough to think that everyone should be given an unbiased trial. I’m also uncomfortable how media-seeking the son has been (tho on other hand I completely understand - he needed help and closure). TLRD; this docu was too soon?

Not the most well balanced docuseries Netflix has put out, but certainly one of the most memorable. Sometimes you can't miss when you've got a compelling enough story, and this one goes about as deep into the depths of human depravity and the horrors of religious zealism as most of us can stomach. It's unimaginable to have to be this woman's son and try to confront her, and in that regard the series executes that perfectly. The rest could have been better organized/delivered.
