Skellig

An interesting story with lots of symbolism. I liked the sound world and acting of Tim Roth. The young boy was also a good face. But the executing and the story as a movie was not that successfully done.

Serviceable family drama with high production values and a top notch cast. Both of the young actors put in good performances and Tim Roth is wonderfully melancholic as the title character. The religious symbolism gets a little out of hand towards the end, but the other ideas about friendship and self-belief might strike a chord with younger viewers.
