It may be better written than some other Sonic TV cartoons, but I had trouble even focusing in on that because TV CGI animation absolutely always looks like a sub-1995 Toy Story eyesore to me. I've accepted that CGI animation has supplanted 2D on the big screen, but please, not on TV too!

This show started out pretty cringy but after a while the writers clearly figured something out and it turned into more of a self aware satirical show, and it became hilarious and awesome as a result. If you've ever enjoyed Sonic memes, this is basically the show for you lol
